I’m Dreaming of A World Series

I attended a holiday party last night full of good friends, good cheer, good wine, good food and lots of good Christmas music.  Yes, I said Christmas music.  No one loves a good old-fashioned Christmas carol more than this little Jewish girl.  Except maybe Phillies manager Charlie Manuel who said last week on Daily News Live that his favorite song of the season is White Christmas.  So with apologies to Irving  Berlin and the voice of Bing Crosby echoing in my head, here we go.

Just like the one in two-oh-eight

A parade in the city

Would be so pretty

A time for fans to celebrate.
